The Fairmont Le Château Frontenac, formerly and commonly referred to as the Château Frontenac, is a historic hotel built in 1893, and set in the heart of old Quebec City. The property is within the historic district’s Upper Town, on the southern side of Place d’Armes. This heritage urban resort will seduce you with its breathtaking views of the St. Lawrence River and the architecture of the Old fortified City, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu is a historic hotel in La Malbaie, Quebec. The hotel was first built in 1899 but then burned down in 1928. The hotel was rebuilt in 1929 in the Châteauesque style, designed by Canadian architect John Smith Archibald in the style of a French castle. Located approximately 150 kilometres northeast of Quebec City, the hotel sits on a cliff along the St Lawrence River offering expansive views of the scenic landscape! It has 405 guest rooms and four restaurants and a casino next door. The property was host to the G7 summit in 2018.
